Welcome to Aurora Sound Studios. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Aurora Sound Studios website (aurorasoundstudios.com) and services provided by Aurora Sound Studios, located at 3401 Fremont Ave N, Seattle, WA 98103. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not access or use our website and services.
All bookings for studio time, mixing, mastering, and other services are subject to availability. Aurora Sound Studios reserves the right to refuse or cancel any booking at its sole discretion. To secure a booking, a deposit may be required. This deposit is non-refundable except as explicitly stated in our cancellation policy.
Clients are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner while using the studio facilities. Aurora Sound Studios reserves the right to terminate any session immediately if a client's behavior is deemed inappropriate, disruptive, or harmful. Clients are responsible for any damage to the studio equipment or property caused by their actions or the actions of their guests.
Clients retain ownership of their original recordings and compositions. However, Aurora Sound Studios retains the right to use any recordings made during a session for promotional purposes, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. All intellectual property rights related to the studio's equipment, software, and processes remain the property of Aurora Sound Studios.
Fees for services are outlined in our current price list, which is available upon request. Prices are subject to change without notice. Clients are responsible for paying all applicable taxes and fees.
We accept payments via cash, credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), and bank transfer. Payment is due upon completion of services, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. For long-term projects, progress payments may be required.
Late payments may be subject to interest charges at a rate of 1.5% per month, or the maximum rate allowed by law, whichever is lower. Aurora Sound Studios reserves the right to suspend services for clients with outstanding balances.
If a client cancels a booking with more than 72 hours' notice, the deposit will be credited towards a future booking. If a client cancels with less than 72 hours' notice, the deposit will be forfeited. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made on the day of the scheduled session.
In the event that Aurora Sound Studios needs to cancel a booking due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., equipment malfunction, staff illness), the client will be offered a full refund of the deposit or the option to reschedule the session at no additional cost.
Aurora Sound Studios is not liable for any loss, damage, or theft of personal property brought onto the studio premises. Clients are responsible for their own belongings. Aurora Sound Studios is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the use of our services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us for the services in question.

Any changes will be posted on our website, and your continued use of our website and services after the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Aurora Sound Studios relating to the use of our website and services and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether oral or written, between you and Aurora Sound Studios with respect to the subject matter hereof.
No waiver by Aurora Sound Studios of any term or condition set forth in these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or condition or a waiver of any other term or condition, and any failure of Aurora Sound Studios to assert a right or provision under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
If any provision of these Terms is held by a court or other tribunal of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable for any reason, such provision shall be eliminated or limited to the minimum extent such that the remaining provisions of the Terms will continue in full force and effect.
